Census By Map
Census By Map is a Demographic Thematic Maps based on the USA Census 2010 Data. The Demographic Data is the information compiled from the questions asked of all people and about every housing unit in the United States. Population items include sex, age, race Hispanic or Latino, household relationship and group quarters. Housing items include occupancy status, vacancy status and tenure (owner occupied or renter occupied). The Demographic Data has more than 331 tables or 8,912 variables, in hierarchical sequence, States, Counties, Census Tracts, Block Groups, Census Blocks
Zip Code Tabulation Areas, School Districts, Congressional Districts, Urban Areas, and State Legislation Districts.
Population and housing characteristics for the total population
- population totals for an extensive list of race (American Indian and Alaska Native tribes, Asian and Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander) and Hispanic or Latino groups
- Population and housing characteristics for a limited list of race and Hispanic or Latino groups
Selected aggregates and medians also are provided.
The size of the Textual Database is almost one Terra Byte, as for the Mapping Database it is expected to exceed the 20 Terra Bytes.
The Thematic Map is displayed for one Variable of a Census Table, The user can select one of 331 Tables available, then a click on the Map (or an Address Entry will produce a Statistical Report and a Pie Chart for the specific Selected County.
